While I am not able to offer free initial sessions, I am happy to have a 15-minute telephone discussion to help you decide whether you wish to make an appointment.  To confirm your appointment you will need to complete a personal information form and confirm that you have read and understood the 2018 Terms of Service.

 

Upon arrival

 

There is no receptionist at The House on Snow Hill. Please arrive on time and press the buzzer corresponding with my name. Be aware that the buzzer rings in the consulting room where I may be in session, so please endeavour not to arrive early.

Fees

 

For self-paying clients, my fees are £130 per 50-minute session for individuals and £150 for couples during regular daytime clinics (currently Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9-1). Fees vary for evening appointments (when available), insurance clients, and students; please inquire. I prefer payment via electronic transfer and will provide you with details.

 

Insurance Clients

 

In the case of pre-authorised sessions, I will typically be billing your insurance company directly in accordance with their fee schedule. For psychological services that are covered but that have not been formally pre-authorised, you may be required to pay me directly and then claim reimbursement from your insurance company.

If in doubt, please communicate with your insurer about the terms and conditions of your particular policy. 

I am covered by various insurers, to include Bupa, WPA, Aviva, Cigna, and Cigna International. If I am not covered by your current health insurance provider, I may be able to register.

 

Missed Sessions

 

At least 24 hours' notice is required, and as much advance notice as possible is requested, if you need to cancel a session. No-shows or sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full fee. As I cannot bill your insurance company for sessions that did not occur, I will need to bill you for a no-show or late cancellation.
